I am David
Eternal spirit within human form
Born of land, sea and sky
And the love of my soul
Always a part of ‘All that is’
Expressing myself as David
My human aspect
Sometimes fallible
Sometimes weak
I remain
Pure spirit
With a body and mind
Knowing what’s right
And recognising wrong
Proud to know this
Proud to be loving
Proud to be human
Knowing who I am
